Bad Company 2 Fever!

I'm always a fan of army based modern/post war games. Some of my favorite was Call of Duty, Brothers in Arms and Battlefield series. Owh, did I mentioned I like FPS?
Well currently, I'm addicted to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for the XBOX 360 because of how awesome the multiplayer mode is (online gaming is always the best). In case you guys are not familiar on the Battlefield concept, here's a rundown:

- 2 sides & up to 25 players each side
- huge maps. you can even be stranded in the middle of nowhere
- contains armored vehicles and sentries for total war zone
- fight of defend to the finish

okay, and here's the breakdown of the available scenario for Bad Company 2:

Rush: Players must defend or destroy pairs of M-COM stations for as long as the attacking teams respawn tickets hold out. An M-COM station can be destroyed by planting a charge, using conventional weapons or when a building is collapsed down on it.

Conquest: Players must capture and hold flags for as long as the enemy respawn tickets hold out. Every kill makes the enemy lose one ticket, and enemy tickets constantly decrease when a team controls more than half of the flags on the map. Vehicles unlock as control points are held.

Squad Rush: Rush mode played with only two opposing squads and one M-COM station.

Squad Deathmatch: Four squads and one Infantry Fighting Vehicle roam the map. First squad to fifty kills wins.

Interesting isn't it? I can say, Battlefied series always provide the best open war multiplayer action for all time.

Btw, here's my current Battlefield: Bad Company 2 stats (will update itself automatically):

Feel free to add me at XBOX Live as I'm looking for some comrades to join forces. Alright, off to the battlefield!

Strobe-ing Fun

Went to a local lighting store here in KL today and bought myself a lighting equipment for my outdoor photography. Well, actually it's a speed-light stand with an umbrella mount. Still trying to learn how to use it and so far I've got some pretty awesome output. Well here's some shot using the umbrella mount with my 580EX II attached and triggered with my Canon EOS 7D. My bro is the model btw:

Everyone Needs a Break

Yesterday, I've attended one of my schoolmate, Hafiz Che Haron's wedding with my fellow mates. Held at Dewan Banquet Shah Alam, it was my first time visiting there although I've went to the hall next to it during my wedding job for Hilman & Misya last year.

Anyways, after the wedding we've decided to send Manlok to his new home at Sepang. During the so called road trip, we've stopped by at Alamanda, Purajaya to have some bite. The day was so hot that I was craving for some ice-blended and waffles.
We took a bite at the food court and I've ordered the typical honey & butter waffle & had Nescafe Mocha Freeze for my drink.

Just what I needed, a piece of heaven

Then, we went straight to Manlok's place and stayed there for a while for a 4-player co-op FIFA 2010 match. It was a blast and I always enjoyed party games. After a few matches, we went straight back to Shah Alam then.

Action Figures! - TMNT

I love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since the 80's and I still watch them occasionally. The latest would be Turtles Forever which showcases cross-dimension of the turtles I grown-up with during the 80's era, the new TMNT series & the old Mirage's TMNT. Really a must watch for any turtles fan.

Anyways, I would like to dig out some old pictures from my flickr that I took before. It's a diorama of the TMNT I've made around the house. Credits to Tengku Edzuan for the action figures of the turtles. I used to own most of them when I was a kid but like most kids do, I lost all of them.

Here are some pictures for all you turtles fan:

Haul of The Day

Today, I went to MPH to grab myself a copy of this month's Digital Camera Magazine. I used to buy it every month but i've stopped buying for a while for some reason. Since the topic is about how to master low lighting and it's something I'm really interested with, so I've decided to get one.

When I got back home, there's a parcel waiting for me and I know what's coming. It's my new National Geographic Earth Explorer NG2343 DSLR bag that I've ordered from Yamiya couple of days ago. Gotta love the design as it doesn't look like any normal black DSLR bags & has this NatGeo feel on it. Carrying it looks like i'm gonna go shoot some lions in Africa too!

Anyways, here's a shot of the magazine and the awesome bag:
